2) I’m sure the reason Apple haven’t removed DRM is because they don’t want to. I can just see it now, the record companies are saying Apple can sell tracks without and Apple are turning them down because they’re happy with just EMI.
3) Or something like Hazel for Mac. Not a part of iTunes but does the job just fine.
5) Yup, the world is clamouring for subscription services in iTunes. It is, after all what has stopped iTunes becoming the market leader and made all the other services that do offer it such huge successes. Oh wait.
6) Bandwidth could be an issue - especially with video podcasts. I have had a number of podcasts that have become neglected because I only listen on my iPod. Maybe it should be an option, but it has certainly saved me from downloading loads of stuff for no reason.
7) Well it’s mentioned in smart playlists and I think in some of the help files for ripping cd’s and seems pretty self explanatory anyway. Where should they mention it - a big pop up when you launch iTunes?
9) The dozens of apps that allow this sort of functionality probably don’t rate this as a huge priority for Apple.
11) No e-books! No real demand. There’s a load of other things iTunes doesn’t do either, maybe apple should forget about adding new features to OS X and just put everything in iTunes.
I have problems with iTunes but some of these are either unfairly targetting Apple as the reason for the “problem” or things based on one point of view or preference.
