About a month ago the gas prices around here were about $4.05 to $4.10 a gallon, without doing extensive research on the subject - I think the price was around $4.07 or $4.08 at the station I use. Today the price of a gallon is about $3.65. That is a drop of about 43 cents in the past 30 days, not bad eh? It’s not until you consider the fact that the price of gas last year at this time was about $2.52 a gallon in this area, that means that we are still paying about $1.13 more a gallon than last year.
