About that, how easy is it, in your experience, to keep ahead of updates, and how arduous is that process? Once it is jailbroken is it free forever, or do I need to re-liberate it every time there is a software/firmware update from Apple? I am willing (hell, sometimes eager) to work with hacked equipment in a day to day sense, but I don’t know as that is something I would value in my phone. With a PC I want freedom, with a phone (even one playing at being a PC) I want reliability. I want it to Just Work. Does a jailbroken iPhone Just Work, and how much does that depend on the unauthorized apps it is running?
