As a Canadian,with no right to bear arms and increasing criminal gunplay in our streets,I know that criminals have no trouble getting weapons.I lived a criminal lifestyle for many years and during those years I always had multiple weapons at hand.Now that crime is in my past I can’t even own a hunting rifle.I’m not a big fan of open and unregulated gun ownership.Neither do I like the only legally armed people to be the para military and other police who often act worse than gangsters.They might be a little more hesitant to do their no knock warrants if we were all armed.
