but that’s the problem. They are not the ones who have the right to decide what a proper family is. No one, outside of the family themselves have a right to decide what is proper. It is SO UNAMERICAN to tell anyone how they should be. The whole reason this country was founded was so that people could be themselves without worry that the government would tell them they can’t. It takes time to recognize that we are ALL equal, but come on- this is silly. Doctors treat patients, no one said they have to like them.
