The Conservatives and the Liberals broadly support the same policies with minor differences like cutting consumption taxes vs cutting income taxes. How can you say the Conservatives don’t represent Canada? 36% of Canadians voted for a corporate-friendly Conservative party, and 30% voted for a corporate-friendly Liberal party. Looks to me like 66% of Canadians support business-friendly parties and the war in Afghanistan. Get off your NDP-horse.

Also, to any Americans looking to come to Canada: don’t. We don’t want you here. As a matter of fact, we are deporting the Iraq war deserters now back to the US. Don’t fall under the impression that Canada is some Kucinich paradise.
