Democrats sadly have no shot at winning at this point. Hillary supporters (51%, according to CNN’s poll) will throw the election to McCain if Obama gets the nomination. that’s some serious party solidarity right there.
In other words, the democrats are fucked. And they’ve fucked themselves. It really bothers me to think that dems were this susceptible to losing and to in fighting and being polarized but those are the simple facts. Dems are split down the middle and both sides are saying ‘if we don’t win, you won’t win.’ And therefore, McCain is a shoe in. He’ll win by a landslide at this point and it’s disgusting. He won’t even win as much as everyone else will lose due to good old American stubbornness.
Yep, we’re fucked. McCain will win the election with ease when you project out past this fucked up nomination process. Hilary and Obama supporters REALLY do hate each other and each others’ candidates that much that would rather see McCain win just to spite the other. And in that case, we not only all lose, but we’re all FUCKED.
