dirk, no one believes bush himself did anything, people attribute those things to the administration behind him, who are quite intelligent and have had questionable motives for almost everything they have said and done in the last few years.

You also slipped in all those random conspiracy theories as if people who think another patriot act is ready to go, also believe those things and are thus ‘batshit crazy’. Nice try, but no.

But setting that aside, unless you haven’t been paying attention there is a mountain of evidence to support any and all rumors, claims, or plans such as referenced here about the internet being locked down.

And the way the original patriot act suddenly appeared and was passed quickly would give credibility to any rumor of there being another one. They had that thing ready to use given the right opportunity, if you don’t understand that or believe it you are a moron. That thing was written before 9/11 ever happened.
