In my opinion, organized religion is a horrible, horrible thing.

Faith, on the other hand, is fine. If a person has faith, I have no problems with it. If they have religion (”I found god!”), you can expect to hear about it. I don’t want to hear about it.

Proselytizing isn’t endorsed by true Christianity, even:

Matthew 6:5-6: “And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men….when thou prayest, enter into thy closet and when thou has shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret….”
