The cretins are DISGUSTING I can’t stomach much more of this spineless bumfluffery to extremes. I would not recommend Lott’s research; Lott himself has used questionable methods in his information and he has used questionable methods for demonstrating support of his position.

I would, instead, recommend the research conducted by Gary Cleck. Professor Kleck’s findings are interesting because he initially expected his research to show that firearms were not significantly employed for defensive purpose as compared to criminal purposes, yet he found that he could not rationally support such a conclusion from evidence.

Any “serious audiophile” who prefers vinyl is a serious idiot. The CD is superior in every conceivable way. The only big improvement it really needs is separated channel surround sound and the required space for that. Oh and did I mention that vinyl doesn’t even do stereo correctly? Light and right channels bleed through each other on records. Really vinyl is shit.

It’s generalizations like this that keep dividing the country. Not all conservatives donate more time and money to charities, and not all liberals want the government handling all aspects of their lives.

You should say “That’s the difference between Obama and I,” not “That’s the difference between Liberals and Conservatives.”

This “one side or the other” notion blows; half the country can’t seem to stand the other, or understand how the other half went so wrong. It makes me worry about the future of my country.

Plus, I have yet to find a candidate who actually represents my views by more than maybe 50% of the issues I care about. Where is my viable, fiscally conservative, socially liberal candidate, who is for nuclear power, against the war, against torture, for public work programs and against welfare/universal health care?
