OMG - if he cares for his brother like this, can you image how he would care for us, his fellow citizens? If he were my brother, I would not rest until I helped him as much as I could. This guy is a big zero on a personal level - no heart, no shame, no scruples, no honor, no compassion.

I can read the headlines now - “President Obama visits disadvantaged elementary school in Appalachia - says they were like strangers to him but they had nice round heads.”

Madness, simply madness that he could have come this far. For you history buffs, I see Bush as Romulus Augustus (no compliment, believe me) and Obama as Odoacer. He’s the first of a wave of rulers that will plunge the US into our own dark age. Get ready for the fall.

Georgia attacked South Ossetia which is a province of Georgia in an attempt at “ethnic cleansing”. Russia stepped in as humanitarian aid to stop the genocide.

DarthDiabetes you clearly don’t understand Canadian politics. The Conservatives and the Liberals broadly support the same policies with minor differences like cutting consumption taxes vs cutting income taxes. How can you say the Conservatives don’t represent Canada? 36% of Canadians voted for a corporate-friendly Conservative party, and 30% voted for a corporate-friendly Liberal party. Looks to me like 66% of Canadians support business-friendly parties and the war in Afghanistan. Get off your NDP-horse.

Also, to any Americans looking to come to Canada: don’t. We don’t want you here. As a matter of fact, we are deporting the Iraq war deserters now back to the US. Don’t fall under the impression that Canada is some Kucinich paradise.

Some asshat Jeremy Rabkin is on now apologizing for “war time presidents” don’t have to respect the Constitution.’ “shouldn’t have to abide by it at a time of war” Huh? Like it’s OK to destroy it so we can be “protected”? because of a so-called “war on terror!”..which is a SCAM to begin with. And he’s up there, advertising for it, marketing the fraud of this monumental hoax like a cheap sales pitch.

What shit. Apologizing and making excuses for the Bush Administrations lies and war crimes like it’s no big deal “our enemies are not Democrats or Republicans our enemies are terrorists abroad who want to kill us” “thank you” he says L:O:L !!

” terrorists abroad ” aren’t destroying our Bill of Rights and dismantling our Constitution, dumbass!

Christ what absolute garbage propaganda. It’s the “evil terrorists who hate our American freedoms and way of life!” right. Sure. As the “powers that be” leave Americas borders and ports unsecured, unprotected from these “evil freedom hating terrorists” but instead dismantle our Constitutional rights, basic civil liberties, and legislate away our privacy rights, give us a “Patriot Act” and Department of Homeland Security corporation, then pass more wiretapping legislation to spy on American citizens without probable cause. Real ID act with RFID tracking chips anyone?

It makes ZERO sense to claim to be fighting terrorism overseas while leaving your own front door unlocked. Who pays these scumbags? They sure don’t represent us.

Now as I was typing that stuff some other robotic, monotone Bush apologizer Frederick Schwartz is speaking about “we much not impeach the president since it is too late” “conduct that is against American values that has actually made us less safe” WTF? “less safe” ? What does he care about “American values” ? What’s next, another round of “for the children” double-talk? Wonder what his connections are…AIPAC probably wrote his speech

The cretins are DISGUSTING I can’t stomach much more of this spineless bumfluffery to extremes. Put Vincent Bugliosi on already let’s hear from a real man with some real TRUTH instead of this sold out room full of the sleaziest, blood-sucking, and most unconvincing would-be used car salesmen on the entire continent… Perhaps the entire planet.

If any city was honest and serious about increasing safety, they’d do like they did in the UK. They’re big, HIGHLY VISIBLE, and are put mainly in high accident locations. They basically serve as a warning sign to get people to slow the eff down and drive safely in otherwise dangerous sections of road. Instead the American hype machine went to work and cities were sold on the idea of quick and easy cash, so now they’re popping up everywhere. And that’s not even touching on the legality of them. If everyone would challenge them in court and at least make *someone* in authority say they did something illegal maybe these things would go away. Basically the cities are handing over their authority to a private company, which of course opens up all sorts of legal loopholes.

I would, instead, recommend the research conducted by Gary Cleck. Professor Kleck’s findings are interesting because he initially expected his research to show that firearms were not significantly employed for defensive purpose as compared to criminal purposes, yet he found that he could not rationally support such a conclusion from evidence.

Reagan’s new FDA commissioner, Arthur Hayes Hull, Jr., appointed a 5-person Commission to review the use of aspartame. after the initial five members voted 3-2 to uphold the ban Hull added 6th member to the review board and the vote became deadlocked. He then personally broke the tie in aspartames favor. and who might you think was the CEO of G.D. Searle & Company at this time?(the company trying to get aspartame approved) well it was none other than Donald Rumsfeld, that’s right Bush’s former secretary of defense, the guy who disbanded the Iraqi military and is basically responsible for the US having to police all of Iraq.

Any “serious audiophile” who prefers vinyl is a serious idiot. The CD is superior in every conceivable way. The only big improvement it really needs is separated channel surround sound and the required space for that. Oh and did I mention that vinyl doesn’t even do stereo correctly? Light and right channels bleed through each other on records. Really vinyl is shit.

“But I guess that’s the difference between conservatives and liberals. Conservatives donate more time and money to charities, yet get called uncompassionate by liberals who give less and expect the government to fix everything when it’s proven to be grossly inefficient.”

It’s generalizations like this that keep dividing the country. Not all conservatives donate more time and money to charities, and not all liberals want the government handling all aspects of their lives.

You should say “That’s the difference between Obama and I,” not “That’s the difference between Liberals and Conservatives.”

This “one side or the other” notion blows; half the country can’t seem to stand the other, or understand how the other half went so wrong. It makes me worry about the future of my country.

Plus, I have yet to find a candidate who actually represents my views by more than maybe 50% of the issues I care about. Where is my viable, fiscally conservative, socially liberal candidate, who is for nuclear power, against the war, against torture, for public work programs and against welfare/universal health care?
