Susuto

Hello R12ooGSA experts. I currently own a K1200RS, among other makes and models, but have always loved the GS series bikes. I’m 5′7″ and 175 lbs. so have always balked at buying, fearing both comfort and safety issues related to my size on such a tall bike.

I sat on a 2008 the other day and it seemed very manageable but i’d love feedback from owners my general size to affirm their love or frustration with their R1200GSA (The model i’d prefer to buy).

I am very experienced on road surfaces and moderate off-road. I would use the bike 90% of the time on pavement but want the freedom on long excursions (900 miles or so) to go off-road if i want.

Please help me to decide if they’ve finally made a GSA for me
