I cant think of a more economical solution for storing Blu-ray sized chunks of data. I could build a 4 TB standalone NAS array right now for under $1000 and store (80) 50GB Blu ray movies/PS3 Games on it (assuming all discs are 50GB, real-life avg will be much less 33GB avg id say). $2000 can buy 4 TB, redundant and an offsite backup too. These prices are only going to get cheaper……fast. I roughly estimated the numbers, but they arent far off the market reality.

80 Blu-Ray Movies x $25 USD =$2000 USD.
80 PS3 games x $60 = $4800 USD

121 PS3/BD-Roms averaged @ 33 GB = PS3 games $7260, BD-ROM $3,025
