I had the unfortunate experience of buying a sim card adapter from mooglex. While the card does indeed unlock the iPhone, there is a CRITICAL design flaw — the adapter gets stuck in the tray. In my case, I had to pry it open, damaging my tray in the process.
If you do a Google search, you’ll find that this is a problem for these sim card adapters! In fact, some reviewers have been unable to remove the sim card/adapter from their iPhone!
The worst part of this is that the geniuses behind mooglex.com have refused to answer my emails for a refund (despite a 15-day moneyback guarantee on their website). Caveat emptor, indeed …
