I guess people don’t like to read. I never said Pride went under, because of the ufc. I said without the ufc succeeding, new orgs would not have sprang up.
People saying “ufc didn’t kill pride, durrr” are fucking retarded in this conversation, because that furthers MY point that mma would be dead without the ufc. Without the ufc, you are saying pride would have died anyway. So without tuf, pride would still be dead, the ufc would also be dead, affliction/strikeforce/elite xc wouldn’t exist, so what fucking mma would still be around? Dream is on the verge of dying as well, so there would be no US mma, and there will shortly be no japanese mma either. Who would be around? Learn to fucking read, and comprehend that, and you’ll feel foolish for arguing with it.
The stupidity around here is legendary at times, and reading comprehension just plain sucks. This isn’t sherdog, where any compliment of ufc or pride means “zomg you are an elitist/noob, and I hates you for liking the org I don’t like”.
