Susuto

I make my living building and selling gaming computers, NAS backup systems all consumer grade stuff etc, and I still get dumbfounded by the damn Term. Unless you are a programmer, or grew up using CLI, its very difficult to get used to. I need to break down and drag my ass to a LUG jsut for some terminology and basic compile/untar tutorials. And thts the thing right there, I have to go to a LUG jsut to get up to speed on the most basic linux stuff. Ive been trying distros since knoppix first came out, and they are all a pain unless you have all the right hardware. Im not afraid of the CLI, I just need some help. I can ftp thru CLI (barely) SSH, telnet. But ask me to untar or compile something and im lost. Sudo what??
