I never died from the RRoD, and I am not trying to make seem bigger than it is but its just nervey to try to downplay the amount of machines that RRoD by trying to point out the PS2 DRE issue. Apparently the DRE issue affected numbers in the hundred thousand. And it was not universal. Most my friends and I with original launch PS2’s still had their systems working without any such dre (it was peoples guesses that the blue coated disc were a big part of the problem adding stress to reader). But the 360 issue affecred millions. Me.. all my friends and everyone we know with a 360 has had RRoD at least once.
