I never spoke of stories appearing on Reddit first, or vice versa, that’s a completely different topic but what I did talk about is the embarassing lack of good gaming content on Reddit, especially so when compared to the content submitted to Digg by it’s users about gaming.
How the hell could you manage to miss that I’m takling about gaming? Seriously? And I am truly a Reddit user, while I may not have much karma (1811 at the moment, you may have noticed a story of mine on the frontpage yesterday with near 800 upvotes, my highest yet), I still visit it rather regularly and do my up/down-voting and commenting.
Quality of submissions? There are tons of duplicate stories (With no warning when submitting which Digg has), blogspam is such a problem that people submit “NOT BLOGSPAM” or similar titled stories, stupid “Vote up if,” stupid self.reddit subbmissions, a story about “whos is qgyh2,” etc.
I like both, for different reasons, and anyone who thinks the other is inherently superior in every way is a moronic hypocrite — yes, I’m talking about all those Reddit users.
