I think this is a bad idea, here’s why:

* Apple will presumably add this eventually, so this will then become redundant - and users will have gotten used to a method that might not be how a final implementation works. And the apps will also have to then be updated to remove this method.
* The two most useful apps for this to work in (Mail and Safari) will obviously never include this Framework.

I wish Apple had done something earlier so we didn’t get trapped in this rock / hard place scenario of a poor implementation that will probably only be short term, or no implementation at all.
