I turned my T42 IMB into a hackintosh. The wifi didnt work, that was a downer. A lot of applications didnt run. My USB port blew out, and it smelled like something burning. It didnt quite get the correct resolution because the graphics drivers weren’t made for my computer.
I have a 17in MBP that’s less than a year old - it has been an absolute JOY to own. I spent about $3,700 on that IBM, and close to the same on my MBP. IBM is a great company, but it cant come close to the quality my MBP delievers .
