I’d contend the idea it’s “no crazier” than Christianity on the basis that there may in fact have been a historical Jesus in which stories could have been based. Speculating an entire cosmology in which several modern ideas are alien thought implants meant to control us because Earth is a prison planet has absolutely no grounding in reality to begin with. Never-the-less, I really don’t care what they believe as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone.

And therein lies the problem. The Church of Scientology hurts people. I am by no means an apologist for Catholics, and I am an atheist myself. However, the Pope recently apologized for all who were hurt and abused by the seemingly rampant peodphilia within the Catholic Church. These people were acting AGAINST their religion’s dogma in commiting these abuses.

In the Church of Scientology however, it it official policy that Church critics (or suppressive persons) have no human rights and may be “sued, tricked, lied to or destroyed”. Look up “fair game”. I urge you as a fellow free-thinking individual to do your research on this topic.

The Church of Scientology’s medical negligence, and human rights absues against both their critics and parishioners are well documented and outright disgusting. There is a lot of information out there, and I think the home page of Enturbulation.org contains many valuable links.
