If you are truly interested in getting in shape, then buy some personal training sessions. I just got done with a 10 week program, and I have to say I had learned quite a bit. I originally purchased the training sessions because I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my knee. I’d been a bit of “gym mouse” (not quite a rat) before, but I needed someone to show me how to continue my workout routines without injuring myself, or worsening the problem. It’s really worth it to be shown the right way to do things, and little tips and tricks to help you along the way.
In the end though it’s not rocket science, and anyone can do it.
