“I’m just asking you to consider people’s reasons for choosing to be vegetarians.”

I have, I understand, and ask you to understand that I have chosen to continue to eat maet and veggies. There was a Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals before PETA came along. I don’t know why PETA had to be a seperate group if they both supposedly have the same purpose, but PETA does not have the same purpose as the SPCA. SPCA is fine with people having pets, zoos, eating meat, and advancing medicine by learing from animals as long as we are not purposely causing animal suffering, but that’s not enough for PETA.
