In other news, End Of Capitalism has been imminent since 1848 according to Karl Marx.
Seriously though, MM may have a point in the sense that we may finally see the end of the worship of capitalism, that is the deeply rooted idea that if something relates to “free market” then by definition it just MUST be good. It’s about time to rebuild the economy on pragmatic foundations, trying to emulate what works best for a given case, rather than religiously following whatever is the dominant ideology of the moment.
