INFP - and a very competent programmer, as well as a graphic artist

Here’s my breakdown (minus the I and E)
S=6 Sensing
N=14 iNtuition
T=8 Thinking
F=11 Feeling
J=9 Judging
P=10 Perceiving
You are an INFP

Notice how my T is not that much less than F, and J is not that much less than P.

I have to be highly critical of Myer-Briggs when it comes to determing careers. Are there ANY scientific *facts* that PROVE having a particular personality type means you are more suited to becoming aprogrammer?? Or is this just pure pseudo-science/pop psychology/fanciful thinking?

I am highly sceptical that having a particular personality type increases your ability/suitability to perform certain tasks and succeed at certain careers.

And in the unproven case that a personality type in fact does have bearing on one’s career ability, it’s still not too unreasonable to *hypothesise* that you are an INFP when dealing with humans, and switch to INTJ mode when dealing with computers.

There’s just not enough science in this, sorry.
