It’s targeted at McCain because he is running for president. I’m sure you knew that But this to me seems like a sound measure of his character. It may not to you, but then you are free to vote for him right? Just because you don’t agree with a political conversation, doesn’t mean it isn’t valid and meaningful to someone else. The free and open discussion of all thoughts and beliefs is what this country is supposed to be built on. For some reason, it seems like many people have the mistaken idea that to be a patriotic American means you agree with the president all the time.

Why do you think that this message can’t be both pro-troops and anti-McCain at the same time? And why do you think that makes it less valid?
