I’ve been trying to figure out the reality behind the propaganda of this war. What I’ve so far figured out is that American military personnel were in S. Osseta training the locals in terrorist attack techniques. The US was/is interested in strategic points of “enemy” territory and also ally territory. The pipeline is of interest, but I think it has more to do with closing in on Iran and Iran’s oil fields. The Russians were/are fully aware of what was/is going on in their backyard and sent their own forces in to stop it all in it’s tracks so to speak. Any thoughts from non-trolls are appreciated.
