Kimi had the bad luck getting stuck behind Alonso. Just look at how far ahead of him Kimi came out of the pits. After he jumped him, Kimi was .8sec quicker and set fastest lap of the race. It’s just the fact that he got stuck behind a fairly quick car on an incredibly narrow and winding track that’s hard to pass on.
Need we remind ourselves of Massa’s performance at Silverstone? He finished *last* FFS. If it isn’t dry and Massa in first, he drops like a rock. How many times did he linger in 12th or 14th and not do anything the whole race?
