Wow, just wow. Your ability to use logic to link those two situations is amazing.
Are you really that dense to think that an employee/employer relationship is applicable to a server/customer situation?
I’m saying, no matter how much of a dick the customer is to the server, as long as he tips well and pays the bill, *EVERYONE* comes out ahead. The owner of the restaurant is happy that people are buying his/her food, the server is happy because they got a tip and the asshole is happy because he is full and got extra free stuff in his food.
