Last time I checked, the US was not hosting a coming out party intended to show the rest of the world how much progress their society had advanced and that they were ready to face the challenges of the new century in a spirit of openness.
So far, all the previously mentioned “incidents” are piling up and the rest of the world is obviously increasingly uneasy Wether it is bashing or not, not all of these stories are fabrications.A shroud of controversy hangs over these Olympics and I do believe the shock of cultures is proving to be greater than expected.
