like I said earlier Republicans have no problem with the gay issue if people keep it to themselves. I think if gays never crossed into religion they would never have problems in this country. But some want to be priests and get married by christian churches that have pretty clearly not allowed gay marriage for thousands of years. The fact is in a country that is I believe 90% or more god fearing this will not fly. Like I said I am an atheist but I like to see things realistically. I mean for instance I don’t walk around with a shirt that says I am an atheist. I don’t participate in atheist parades. Being an atheist is just a part of who I am. I don’t feel I need to advertise it. If someone asks ill tell them. I have never had a negative response except a few who want to save me. But that only makes me laugh. I have some friends who are very religious. They always say they are praying for me or something but we are still friends. The way I see it is if you don’t rub your differences in someone elses face then we can all just get along. That’s why America can work with people from countries all over the world. We don’t ask if people fuck dogs or cats at home, and we don’t tell. Well until the Humane society finds out.
