Lots of ad hominem attacks going on here. Where did this “you’re just a big chicken afraid of an invisible god” argument come from? It most certainly is not cogent, as it’s ironic that it’s actually an emotional argument. Can’t people actually believe that the foundations of Christianity are logical and built upon well founded arguments such as the cosmological argument, the historical evidence for Christianity, etc. A Christian can behave out of gratitude, which is not the centuries old fear of punishment / hope for rewards argument.
