LumberjackBauer, if I may. I wrote that article. My lack of success with adsense is a case study for when not to use it. I explained why it didn’t work - adsense doesn’t work well unless your site is about consumer products or you have a lot of traffic. That’s why I was telling people who DON’T get traffic not to use it. I never said it doesn’t work if you get a lot of traffic, but I told people that there are plenty of alternatives which often work better for new and experienced bloggers. Obviously if you just throw a blog up there, it’s not going to work. You seem to have the same frustration as me in that most people just put adsense up as soon as they write a blog and think it will work. That’s why I wrote the article. It’s for new bloggers.
