FWIW, she bought it on the day of the IPO (possibly at the pre-offering price of $3.86/sh), and hasn’t sold it yet.
More importantly, she’s not “any of us”. She owns a substantial bit of of it from the beginning, and she’s manipulating legislation that could have a huge impact (like 100x) on its worth. I own alt energy stocks, but I’m pretty powerless on how they pan out.
Well, she’s not the only one–Al Gore co-founded and chairs a company that sells carbon offsets…
