Julie was painting all of Christianity with a very broad brush. That is inaccurate and uncharitable. There is a lot of broad-brush Christian-bashing going on in America, and it’s time for that meanspirited, inaccurate bigotry to come to a screeching halt. It’s been open season on Christians by liberals for too long now. There are an awful lot of inaccurate, unfounded views of Christianity as a result. Christians have been attacked and criticized for no better reason than the meanspiritedness in the heart of the attacker. That’s just not right, and it needs to stop. If you have a specific complaint based on specific, bonafide evidence, then OK. But if it’s just baseless, nebulous criticism, then what is the point other than bigotry against a group?
