No, atheism is merely lack of belief in a deity. That doesn’t imply that we each get to do whatever we feel like in any given moment without regard for anyone else. I know you think that only people who believe in a deity can claim to be moral people, but that’s ridiculous. I have yet to give serious consideration to killing someone. Just because you think that you’re not capable of figuring out that certain things are wrong without having a deity there to tell you so, that doesn’t mean the rest of us are so incredibly dense and immoral that we can’t figure it out for ourselves.
