No, but the Digg description explicitly states that it contains Apple’s response, which is false. Ergo, buried as inaccurate.

Interesting is not the same as newsworthy. You’ll notice that interesting was also literally the first word of my response. The transcript was worth reading, and if someone posts a story tomorrow with an accurate description and the actual response, I’ll gladly digg it. Newsworthy requires that something new happened. As I stated above, what we have is an anecdotal report of a known hardware failure that has hit digg many times already and is old news to anyone actually following these things, and a one-sided anecdotal report of one manager being unhelpful. If it had been an anecdotal report of something, you know, surprising or new, it may have been newsworthy. You may find it interesting, but no reasonable definition of newsworthy really applies. I didn’t bury it because the story wasn’t interesting, although I certainly have my issues with the guy’s report and reaction as explained in my other posts. I buried it because the description lies to make it sound like news instead of a random and inconclusive anecdote. Of COURSE it’s up to the audience to judge. I am part of the audience, and I have made and explained my judgment. You are free to disagree and digg the story instead; I’m just explaining why I don’t find it digg-worthy.
