So everyone talks about how it’s sold out, and it spreads, and then suddenly everyone is anxious about getting the system. So when the next shipment comes — A proper shipment, it sells out for “real” due to people getting excited over the product.
Shortages now boost sales later, people aren’t going to switch to a console that is readily available. Obviously, if it’s available and not sold out (”Oh, people aren’t buying it…”) Then it must suck, right? At least in a consumer’s view.
