Not to start this discussion off on the wrong foot, but let me be the first to point out their misabbreviation. “Engineering Windows 7″ should be “EW7″ for short, not E7. Yes, that’s EW7 like “Eww Seven”. Pro Blogging Tip #1: Your blog name may get abbreviated by your readers over time, so it’s usually best *not* to preemptively make up an acronym, particularly when that acronym uncleverly subverts the less fortunate but more obvious acronym. ;)
Seriously though, good luck with Windows 7, MS. I hope you use wisely everyone’s feedback. Personally, I hope you start by rewriting the OS from the ground up, ditching the legacy nonsense that’s been bloating the OS since ‘98. Clean slate. And take the hints from the Linux distros and Mac OS.
