Notwithstanding this being the Onion - I’d have to concur, especially in light of 2,000 years of tyranny, from Gladiators in Rome, to burning of the Jewish temple in Jerusalem, to pogroms, to the Spanish Inquisition, to forced baptisms, to the holocaust and to the vitriolic hatred being portrayed in extreme right-wing racist groups around the world who’ve ALL hidden under the farcical mask of the *brotherly love, all-forgiving, compassionate* - Christian. Killing in the *name of the lord* seems to somehow make genocide acceptable.
