- nuclear power has a very, very significant waste problem - waste that has the millions word associated with it - toxic to millions, around for millions of years, millions spent trying to solve it with little results - fix the waste problem and nuclear is a different story
- it is not fixed yet - most plants are just locally ’storing’ their waste ‘temporally” till a solution is found better than sticking it all in a hole or mountain somewhere and hope that things stays stable for a that millions word again. it is the elephant in the room for the industry.
