Susuto

PEGBOY - a "profession" i learned about at the whaling museum on nantucket. you see, these seamen would be away for years at a time, and the men would get restless. So they would pick up a (usually) foreign boy at a faraway port who would be paid. Butt, the boy was actually used for more than his official role, which was to swab the aft deck. They would routinely warm up the child using a series of ever larger "pegs", which were inserted into his anus to prepare him for the torpedoing he was scheduled to receive. Pegboy led a loose, and windy life at sea, with numerous late night submarine rides.
