Perhaps in another 10 years or so I might try one of their products again. For the last 10 years they have been bloatware to put it mildly. They install far more services and code than what is needed to accomplish the original desired task. I haven’t used windows in a while so not sure I will need it.
As for the outsourcing, fine. With all that money being saved, then you should be able to invest in your company and clean up the mess and dysfunctions that have bee created. I suggest the book “The Five Dysfunctions of a Team”. Also, find a few products you want to continue, improve them. Make them rock solid. Do not add any new features to anything until you do this. Stop buying companies. Stop merging code. Quality over quantity, or the customers will see it as a lot of useless bloatware.
