Politicians don’t answer questions when an evasion will do
Politicians don’t answer questions when an evasion will do. They can’t be nailed on saying yes or no to a thing if they’re vague, and if the person asking the questions isn’t smart enough to drag things back to the actual point. That’s politics.
There’s also a difference between pro-life positions reducing abortion because women choose not to have abortions (because they’ve “Seen the light”), versus women who would get them simply being unable to due to red tape and enforced ignorance.
If you live out in the middle of nowhere and you’re broke, you can’t afford the gas to get to the clinic that’s 300 miles away, let alone afford the procedure to begin with, abortion may be legal, but you’ll have a hard time getting one.
