@Rahm - Hey cuz, ma ha’inyanim? How’re things with Uncle Binya and Aunt Martha? Uncle Bini shot his mouth off with that crack about you not cleaning the White House floors. I was asked how I felt about that, but I just blew it off and compared it with Pres-elect Obamawitz’s experience with that sort of thing — you know, that Rev. Wright thing? What did he call the Rev. — “crazy uncle” or something like that? (I’m not saying that about Uncle Bini, by any means.)

Thanks for the 4 tickets to the Inauguration. I’m not sure that I will be able to get stateside for it. But that would be cool staying in the Lincoln Bedroom! Things are super-busy these days down here in the sub-basement. The N.N.O. is just going crazy these days. They’re kvetching all over the place, and their heads are plotzing. Their sweet little white bread world will soon be coming to an end: a black President and a Jew Rosh Lishka. And a black Attorney General! All I can say is pass the Pumpernickel!

You know what would blow the NNO’s minds and make them go completely meshugeneh? Have Baruch get sworn in by his cousin the Rabbi. On a Torah!!! And in Hebrew!!!!
