When you say “a few” come from outside, can you provide a couple of examples? I would say that it’s impossible for an outsider to become a CEO of any substantial company. Even the startups that have college kids running the show still have a certain pedigree behind them. Large amounts of investment capital don’t suddenly appear from nowhere, the rich need to first include someone into their circle before they are allowed to receive that sort of funding.
