It’s so easy to identify spammers and newbies since they exhibit all of these faults.
It’s up to us more experienced bloggers to help point them in the right direction, if they are just new and naive that is, and with luck the pure spammers will get nowhere, allowing the socail networking sites to maintain a high quality and be worth visiting regularly.
Two of the main sites that I belong to, Squidoo and Tagfoot, both have a lot of great members who believe in these qualities, and spammers are kept under control, which helps keep the ratings of the sites as well as the friendliness of the members high.
