Get real. The USSR tore itself apart completely on their own. Reagan just gets all the credit because the house of cards finally toppled when he happened to be in office, rather than a few years before or after.
Oh, and anyone who thinks the USSR ever posed a real, credible THREAT to America needs to read a book once in a while. They couldn’t have brought us down even if they DID have spies in every level of our government, they were such a clusterfuck. Not that we were much better…
