You are a fucking idiot. I’m sorry but you are…by trying to compare allowing homosexuals to get into civil unions (not forcing any new laws upon anyone, just allowing them to enjoy the same benefits as others do as couples) to inclusion of religion in Public life (meaning Public LAW), you open yourself up to a world of unprecedented hurt once your religion is not the majority.

This is not Mob Rule. We are NOT a christian nation. Though I am a Christian myself, I don’t need my country’s laws to reflect my values - they don’t change just because some laws have changed.

But saying that because Christians are the majority, that they should be able to flaunt their power in the public eye; ie. creating laws that affect everyone, you’re just digging yourself a hole for when the atheist or Muslims, or Hindus, or Satanist or whatever other majority come to power and shove their ideological BULLSHIT down YOUR THROAT.
