Seriously!
Seriously!…. No woman thinks, “hm, I’m going to get pregnant, just so that I can get an abortion.” As a woman myself, I understand the risks that come with sex, and baby making is up there amongst the scariest ones. With that said, it is MY body and therefore MY choice what to do with it. This doesn’t mean that I’m pro abortion, it means that I am pro choice.
I’m sure that getting an abortion is one of the toughest decisions any woman would ever have to make and, if she does decide, the decision does not come easily. So while I’m simply touching on the mental aspects involved, physically, it is hard on a woman’s body, too.
Don’t go talking about it being “the vessel” and then claiming that she doesn’t get to have a say in what she does with it. No one tells you what to do with your body. It is a personal thing that impacts the life of the individual woman, and her surrounding loved one. It does not impact you, me, or society if she decides that she cannot take care of future of that child.
In using the youtube.com video from above, what, exactly, do you think the punishment ought to be if abortion is illegal? Fill up our prisons even more? Hmmm….
Additionally, if it becomes illegal, there will simply be underground abortion methods. Sounds too risky.
