That site doesn’t take a bunch into consideration.
- How much energy does it take to get those drilling machines built, operated, and maintained?
- How much energy and money does it take to get them in position to drill?
- How much energy and money does it take to discover and pump the oil?
The alternative can be done *RIGHT NOW* with a tiny bit of involvement from the people. I’m a firm believer in no more new exploratory drilling. That’s a weak band-aid solution and would only serve to slow our progress towards alternative energy.
